Brian and his wife Ann Maree were attracted to the longer stays, small group size, and the slower pace of our Best of British tour. The enjoyed the natural beauty of the Lake District and loved being treated like royalty during their overnight stay in Leeds Castle!
The attraction to Albatross was the slow pace and longer stays in locations. It was great to not have to get up everyday and have bags packed. The slow pace enables you to fit more in to your tour. The Best of British Tour attracted us given the access to England, Wales and Scotland. The smaller group is also an attraction.

Everyday had highlights. Bath was captivating, a quick stroll from our hotel and you were surrounded by the ancient roman baths. The Lake District natural beauty was superb. Scotland bought a different experience. in the midst of the fringe festival and The Military Tattoo, Edinburgh was alive. By contrast tours to Stirling and the Trossarchs was more peaceful. Loved the Yorkshire Country with Whitby and York highlights. Shakespeare country was steeped in history, and our day strolling through Strafford Upon Avon, was a delightful change of pace. Oxford was extremely interesting with the history of the famous University town intriguing. with Windsor, our first real experience with the Royals, and our stay at Leeds Castle a real winner
