Klis Castle & Guided Walking Tour

Visit the ruined castle of Klis to savour the astounding views down across Split and the Adriatic. Discover Split's old town on a guided walking tour through the vast 4th century Diocletian Palace complex, the Cathedral and pedestrian friendly town centre.

Krka National Park

Skradiniski Buk Falls & Boat Cruise to Skradin

In the beautiful Krka National Park a leisurely stroll brings us to the dramatic Skradiniski Buk falls. Afterwards, we head down stream by boat to the town of Skradin.

Hvar

Sightseeing, Wine Tasting and a Leisurely Lunch

Our ferry ride out between the islands of Brac and Solta brings us to the famous Adriatic island of Hvar . Over our 3 night stay on Hvar we explore the island and visit the oldest port on the island, Starigrad, the pretty port of Jelsa, taste the local wines, drive along the Lavender Road, enjoy a leisurely lunch at the Bay of Milan and enjoy a full day of 'My Time' in the delightful harbour of Hvar town, overlooked by Castle Spanjola.

Mostar

Guided Walking Tour

Ravaged and smashed in the Balkans War, Mostar has now been lovingly rebuilt. On our guided walking tour we explore this amazing town, where mosques and churches stand side by side with charming riverside terraced cafés and the occasional, bomb damaged, bullet pock-marked ruin. A highlight will be walking across the Stari Most (Old Bridge), a curious humped back pedestrian bridge spanning the River Neretva.

Sarajevo

Guided tour & visit Memorial Museum of Srebrenica

We explore Bosnia-Herzegovina's capital, the fascinating city of Sarajevo, with a local guide. It has been lovingly rebuilt since the Balkans Conflict to create a lively, diverse city. The highlight of your guided tour will be a visit to the Memorial Museum of Srebrenica to learn about the events that took place during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1996.

Mali Ston

Oyster Tasting and a Lazy Lunch

We visit the remarkable twin towns of Ston and Mali Ston. Famous for having the longest complete city walls of any city in Europe linking these two small towns. The oysters of Mali Ston are reputed to be the finest in the world. So... in Mali Ston we board a small boat to visit the Oyster beds and sample fresh oysters, washed down with a glass of wine. Afterwards we have included a lazy lunch in a local restaurant right beside the old harbour.

Montenegro

Kotor & Perast Boat Cruise to Our Lady of the Rock

A full day excursion to the stunning country of Montenegro. In the beautifully preserved walled city of Kotor we enjoy a short guided orientation walk. Later, reaching the little village of Perast, on the dramatic fjord like Bay of Kotor, we enjoy a boat ride out and around the twin islands of St. George and Gospa od Škrpjela (Our Lady of the Rock).

Dubrovnik

Mt Srd Cable Car, Walking Tour & 'Peka' lunch

Our local guide will breathe life into this extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Listed, walled city on a walking tour. We visit the the old Franciscan Monastery and Apothecary. Afterwards, we drive out to the countryside to enjoy a special 'Peka' lunch - the signature dish of Croatia’s Dalmatia region. Back in Dubrovnik, use your included ticket at your leisure to ride the cable car up to the scenic lookout on top of Mount Srđ, to soak up the panoramic views of Dubrovnik.

Cavtat

Cruise and Farewell Dinner

Croatia's cities and towns are best explored on foot, and comfortable shoes are a must.

  • In mid-summer, the heat may be energy sapping.
  • There are a number of beautiful towns and sites we visit which require exploring on foot.
  • Most of Croatia’s fabulous cities and towns have large pedestrian centres which mean you will be up for more walking. None too hard but take comfortable shoes.
